joe-lamontLAMONT, Joseph William of the Villages of Long Point Bay, Port Rowan, passed away on Saturday October 1, 2016 in his 76th year.

Beloved husband of Mary Lamont.  Loving father of Theresa Thatcher (James), Philip (Pat).  Cherished grandfather of Eric, Tristan, Ashleigh, Nikolas, Brianne and Kylie and great grandfather of Violet.  Dearest brother of Patricia Schofield (deceased), John and Paul and beloved uncle to many nephews and nieces.

Predeceased by parents, Joseph and Florence.

Friends and family may call at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St., Port Rowan (519) 586-2901 for visitation on Wednesday October 5, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.  A funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Langton on Thursday October 6, 2016 at 11:00 am with Rev Father Tom Kuriacko officiating.  Interment following cremation at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.

Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Angelman Syndrome Society (cheques accepted) will be gratefully appreciated.

GIBSON: Carl Dean

carl-gibson2GIBSON: Carl Dean – passed away peacefully on Monday September 19, 2016 at his residence, Delhi Long Term Care.  Carl Gibson formerly of Walsingham in his 85th year.

Carl is survived by his brother Lloyd & his wife Amy, sisters Jean Underhill, Grace & her husband Eddie Fisher and Shirley Underhill.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Lloyd & Ethel (Cunningham) Gibson, brothers Frank & George, sisters Dorothy Morden, Bernadine Underhill and Beverly Gibson.

A private family visitation and service was conducted at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front Street Port Rowan on Friday September 23, 2016 at 2:00pm.  Interment followed in the Cultus Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

CLARKE: Elsie Florence (nee Bernicky)

elsie-clarkeCLARKE: Elsie Florence (nee Bernicky) – passed away peacefully on Friday September 9, 2016 at her residence Norview Lodge, Simcoe.  Elsie Clarke formerly of Booth’s Harbour and of the Villages of Long Point Bay, Port Rowan in her 98th year.

Beloved wife of the late Arnold Clarke  Loving mother of, Glenda Owler of North Gower, Joan & husband Edward Arnold of Stouffville and Heather Severn & George Baker of Port Rowan.  Sadly missed by her 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Survived by her sister Evelyn Waldbauer.

Predeceased by her sons-in-law Jim Owler and John Severn.

Private family interment will take place in Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St., Port Rowan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
