roseSQUIRES: Joy Ileen – peacefully on Saturday October 24, 2015 at Norview Lodge, Simcoe, Joy Squires formerly of Port Rowan in her 86th year.

Cherished sister of Jim, Larry (Connie), Brad (Doreen) all of Port Rowan. Joy will be greatly missed by nieces and nephews Jenny (Junior), Randy (Wendy), Greg (Lisa), Adam (Jenna), Alicia (Enzo) and great nieces and nephews Curtis, Stephen, Chance, Blake and Madison.

Predeceased by her parents Ray (1999) and Aletha (1969), sister-in-law Donna (2011) and nephew Jeffrey (1990).

Joy was a long time employee of Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe. She had a big heart, touched many lives along the way and was loved by everyone. She will be remembered for her love of family, laughter and music.

Relatives and friends may call at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St., Port Rowan on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted in the Clark Chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday October 28, 2015 at 1:00p.m. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Walsingham.

163TICKL: Marie (nee Deming) – passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Wednesday October 21, 2015, Marie Tickl of Simcoe and formerly of Port Rowan in her 83rd year.

Wife of Konrad Tickl. Mother of John Armstrong & wife Charlotte of Port Rowan, Steve Armstrong & Brenda of Clear Creek, Shelley & husband Kaz Tasaka of Simcoe and Connie & husband Dwayne Forsyth of Waterford. She will be missed by her 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Survived by her brother Floyd Deming of Simcoe, sisters Violet Gee of Simcoe, Jean Wingrove & husband Don of Port Rowan, by sisters-in-law Marj Deming and Nancy Deming both of Port Rowan.

Marie was a Past President and Charter Member of the Long Point Lioness Club.

Predeceased by her brothers Lawrence, Joe, Wilfred, Earl & Willy Deming.

Relatives and friends may call at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home,  36 Front St., Port Rowan on Sunday from 1-5 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted in the Clark Chapel of the funeral home on Monday October 26, 2015 at 1:30pm. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Port Rowan.

Beloved wife of Antonio Medeiros who she married October 31, 1953. Loving mother of Dena Medeiros and partner Ken Orr of Simcoe, Christine and husband Ed Verboom of Simcoe, Frank of Vittoria and Paul & wife Vicki of Port Rowan. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Jennifer, Tony, Jeff & Ricci, Holly & Jason, Kayla and by great grandchildren Nash and Jax. Dear sister of Messiah & Armando Novo both of Hamilton.

Predeceased by her brothers Tony, Manuel, Frank, Joe and sisters Maria and Marianna.

Family and friends will be received at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home 36 front St., Port Rowan on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Langton on Wednesday October 7, 2015 at 11:00am. Fr. Slawomir Szwgrzyk celebrant. Interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Langton.
