HOWE: Doris Helen (nee: Foster) – passed away unexpectedly on Monday January 12, 2015 at her residence Norview Lodge, Simcoe. Doris Howe formerly of Port Rowan in her 95th year.
Beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Howe who predeceased her December 10, 2009. Loving mother of Janet & husband Bev Long of Tillsonburg and Paul & wife Ruth of Port Rowan. Loving grandmother of Trevor & Lynn Mudford, Darryl & Alison Mudford, Yvonne Kearns & Paul Kearns, Darren & Melissa Howe, Kevin & Julie Howe. Great grandmother of Derek, Joel, Olivia, Michael, Aaron, Dylan, Branden, Ashton, Stella and Bryce. Survived by her brother Glen & Margo Foster of Tillsonburg and by sister-in-law Eileen Foster of Tillsonburg.
Predeceased by her brothers Harvey (2006) & Shirley (2014) Foster and Bryce Foster (1944), Alvin (2009).
Doris joined the Walsingham United Church in 1938 and later attended Houghton First Baptist Church, She was a Charter member of the Walsingham Women’s Institute.
Relatives and friends may call at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St., Port Rowan on Friday January 16, 2015 from 11:30am – 1:00pm followed by the funeral service in the Clark Chapel of the funeral home at 1:30pm. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Port Rowan.

Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday January 11, 2015 at her residence Cedarwood Village, Simcoe, Betty Moore formerly of Clear Creek in her 81st. year.
Devoted wife of almost 49 years to Gordon Moore who predeceased her May 11, 2004. Proud mother of Bill & his wife Suzanne of Windham Centre. Grandmother of 5 beautiful grandchildren Catherine & Michael Jepson of Kitchener, the late Rebekah (1985), Sarah & Richard Harrison of Port Elgin, Eliza Moore and Robert Moore both of RR#1 Windham Centre. Adoring Great Grandmother of 4, Moira, the late Alice (2011), Winston & George Jepson. Cherished sister of Vera Smith (late Dick) of Simcoe, Gladys Overbaugh (late Keith) of Scotland, Fay & Don Marvin of Simcoe, Ray Morris (late June) of Simcoe and sisters-in-law Augustine Morris of Brantford, and Dianne Moore of Kitchener. Special Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Malcom (Mike) & Lizzie Jane (Cormack) Morris, siblings Dorothy, Margaret & Tom Horton, Raymond Morris, Verna Taylor and Ruth & Roy Graham. Betty spent many years working on their family farm and also working in tobacco for others. More recently she spent countless hours volunteering at the Port Rowan Thrift Store. Betty was a dedicated longtime member of the Houghton First Baptist Church. Relatives and friends may call at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St. Port Rowan for Memorial Visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Memorial Service will be conducted in the Clark Chapel of the funeral home on Thursday January 15, 2015 at 1:00pm. Interment later in Clear Creek Cemetery.
