FAST: Erna –  passed away at her residence at Tabor Manor, St. Catharines on Tuesday February 27, 2018 on her 90th birthday, Erna Fast formerly of Port Rowan, Ontario.

Beloved wife of the late Henry Fast who predeceased her January 18, 1961.  Loving mother of Larry & wife Brenda of Tillsonburg, Brian of London, Debra & husband Peter Kriegel of Bobingen, Germany, Barbara & husband Alan Wiens and Susan & husband Norm Size all of Kitchener.  Sadly missed by her 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Predeceased by her sons John (June 10, 1965) and Rodney (May 15, 2009), by her parents John P. & Mary (Hildebrand) Brown, sisters Helena Brown, Mary & husband Abram Reimer, Peter, John, Jacob & wife Lucille.

Relatives and friends may call at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front Street, Port Rowan on Monday March 5, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8p.m.  Private family burial will then take place in Fairview Cemetery, Port Rowan.  A Memorial Service to Celebrate Erna’s Life will be conducted at the Port Rowan Mennonite Brethren Church on Saturday March 24, 2018 at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Spiritual Enrichment Program at Radiant Care (Tabor Manor), the M.C.C. or the Gideons (cheques accepted) would be appreciated by the family.


CSIRE: James Andrew

CSIRE: James Andrew – passed away suddenly at the Via Christi Hospital St. Francis, Wichita, Kansas on Friday February 23, 2018.  Jim Csire of Langton in his 77th year.

Beloved husband of Sharron (nee Moore) whom he married May 13, 1961.  Dear Father of Debbie & husband Ben Sawatzky of Aylmer, Jamie Csire of London, Jim & wife Tiena of St. Thomas and Jodi & husband Adam Gardner of St. Thomas.  Sadly missed by his 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  Survived by his sister Ann Rimnyak and brother Steve & wife Elaine all of Tillsonburg and by his nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by parents Albert & Ann (Nagy) Csire, brother Stephen, sister Irene and by his in-laws Ruby & Jack Moore.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Jim’s Life at the Fairground Community Centre on Sunday March 11, 2018 from 2-4 p.m.

HARDY: Brian John – passed away at his residence in Port Rowan on Wednesday January 31, 2018, in his 64th year.

Beloved wife Linda (nee; Hunter) who were married on February 28, 1998.   Loving father of Jordan of Trenton, Adrienne & Dan of Montreal, Quebec and step-father of Michelle & Jeremy of Kincardine.    Cherished grandpa of Sarah, Adam, Aaron and Scott.   Dear brother of Kathy Szeler & Lorne Sunley of Winnipeg, Manitoba,  Karen & Dave Marvin of Toronto, Kim & Eric Bauer of Newmarket, Kevin of Montreal, Quebec Blair & Laurie of Stoney Plain, Alberta, Bruce & Zenovie, Keith & Marie all of Edmonton, Alberta.

COUNTRYMAN: Donald Munroe


COUNTRYMAN: Donald Munroe – after a battle with cancer on Friday February 9, 2018 at the Norfolk General Hospital.  Don Countryman of Port Rowan in his 79th year.

Beloved husband of the late Donna Mae (Evans) Countryman who predeceased him December 4, 2009.  Dear father of Ronald (Jennifier) of Tillsonburg, Brenda (Barry Cooney) of Elmwood and Charlene (Edward Brazier) of Brantford.  Much loved grandfather of Shane (Mariah), Courtney (Matt), Darren, Derek, Nathan and great grandfather of Luke and Winter.  Don will be remembered by his brothers Jim, John and sister Edna McCutcheon and by sisters-in-law Elaine (Terry) Brown and Irene Rymer (Ernie Smith). Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Predeceased by his parents Carmel (1979) & Helen (Skuce) (1971) Countryman, brother Paul, sisters Margaret Knight and Elsie Smith.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St., Port Rowan on Saturday February 17, 2018 from 10 – 10:45am. followed by the Memorial Service in the Clark Chapel of the funeral home at 11:00am.  Interment later in Bayview Cemetery, Port Rowan. Reception to follow at the Port Rowan Legion.
