BAKER:  Jacqueline Anne U.E.  – passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday February 5, 2018 in her 80th year.

Beloved wife of Ronald E. Baker who were married on April 16, 1960.  Loving mother of David & his wife Krista of Baltimore, Maryland, Hilary Sharp-Baker & her husband Gregory Sharp of Dover, New Jersey, Timothy & his wife Natalie of Baltimore, Maryland, Paul Ferris-Baker & his wife Naira of Baltimore, Maryland.

Cherished grandma of Julian, Elizabeth, Chloe, Matthew, Emma, Noah and Maxwell.

Daughter of the late Norman & Margaret Ferris.  Jackie was a member of St. John’s Anglican Church and trustee of Christ Anglican Church, Vittoria.  She is a member of Pt. Rowan South Walsingham Heritage Association and a United Empire Loyalist.  Jackie was a graduate of Western University and had a career as a therapeutic dietitian.   She spent most of her life in Europe and United States before retiring in Port Rowan in 2002.

Family and friends may call at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St. Port Rowan on Friday April 27, 2018 from 7-9 p.m.   Memorial Celebration of Life Service will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, 46 Front Road, Port Rowan  on April 28, 2018 at 11:00a.m.

MILLEN: Rick “Red Dog”

 MILLEN: Rick “Red Dog”– passed away peacefully on Thursday February 1, 2018 at his residence, Rick Millen of Clear Creek in his 63rd year.

Loving son of Ruby Millen of Port Rowan.   Dear father of Richard & his wife Kim of Langton.  Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Richel and Troy.  Brother Cecil & his wife Cindy of Walsingham, Mary Ann Millen of Port Rowan, Russell & his wife Bernice of Clear Creek, Chris of Langton, and Will of Clear Creek.

Rick will also be sadly missed by his many friends, nieces and nephews

Predeceased by his father Fredrick Roy Millen of Clear Creek.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Port Rowan Legion on Saturday February 24, 2018 from 2-4 p.m.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St., Port Rowan.

December 9, 1929 – February 3, 2018

Of Walsingham -passed away peacefully on Saturday February 3, 2018 at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe.

Loving wife of Glenn Ross.  Dear sister of Marjorie Woolley of Walsingham, Lyle Chambers & wife Gwen of Tecumseh and Mary & husband Jack McVey of New Liskeard.  She will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Frank & Evelyn (Turner) Chambers, by brother Ralph Chambers (1958), by brother-in-law Harold Woolley (2008) and by niece Cheri Woolley (1991).

Doreen was a teacher for her whole career at the North Walsingham Public School.  Doreen enjoyed golfing and gardening and the many winters spent in Florida.  She was also a past volunteer at the Port Rowan Thrift Shop and was a past member of the Walsingham U.C.W.

Relatives and friends may call at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front Street Port Rowan on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted in the Clark Chapel of the funeral home on Friday February 9, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Walsingham.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the St. Williams United Church (cheques accepted) would be appreciated by the family.
