GUNN: John McKay

GUNN: John McKay  passed away peacefully on Friday December 29, 2017 at the Maple Manor Nursing Home, Tillsonburg, John Gunn of Houghton Centre in his 81st year.

Beloved husband of Wanda (nee Millard) who he married June 11, 1960.  Loving father of Jeff & Deb of Delhi, William of Houghton Centre, Matthew & Wendy of Forestville and Jason & Amber of Houghton Centre. Cherished grandpa (papa/pops) of Lindsay, Mylinda, Eric, Nicholas, Dylan, Cameron, Maxwell, Emma and great grandpa of Marshall.  Survived by his brother Douglas & Leanna of St. Thomas.

Relatives and friends may call at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front Street, Port Rowan on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted in the Clark Chapel of the funeral home on Thursday January 4, 2018 at 1p.m.   Interment Cultus Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Houghton Fire Fighters Norfolk Station 8 (cheques accepted) would be appreciated by the family.

THOMPSON: Robert William

Thompson: Robert William –  peacefully on Saturday December 2, 2017 at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, Robert Thompson of Clear Creek in his 73rd year.

Beloved husband of Barbara (Barton) who were married on April 18, 1964.  Loving father of Mike & wife Tammy of Woodstock, Jeff & wife Cindy of Tillsonburg, Tania & husband Keith Van Haverbeke of Langton, David & wife Jessica of Silver Hill.  Cherished grandpa of Selina (Rob), Samantha (D.J.), Mike, Justin, Greg, Steve, Levi, Katie, Seth and great grandpa of Serenety, Kaia, Abbi, Brayden and Baylee.  Survived by his mother-in-law Doris Barton, sisters-in-law Pat Orrell (Dave) and Ruth Thompson and by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his brothers, Stanley and Frederick and by his sister Grace Schell.

Relatives and friends may call at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front Street, Port Rowan on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted in the Clark Chapel  of the funeral home on Wednesday December 6, 2017 at 1p.m.   Interment Cultus Cemetery.
