LORD: Douglas Arthur – passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Tuesday April 18, 2017.  Doug Lord of Port Rowan in his 95th year.

Predeceased by his wife Evelyn, December 12, 2009.

A private family service will take place at Glendale Memorial Gardens, Toronto.

COADY: Edmund James “Ed”

COADY: Edmund James “Ed” – of the Villages of Long Point Bay, Port Rowan, passed away on Sunday April 9, 2017 at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe in his 87th year.

Beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Field) Coady whom he married June 5, 1961.  Dear father of Brian & his wife Lynne of Durham, England.  Sadly missed by his grandchildren Niamh and Olivia.

Predeceased by parents, Edmund and Ann Coady, by brother Dan and sister Nancy.

Ed lived in Dunlaoghaire, County Dublin, Ireland before moving to London, ON for 38 years where he worked as a sales rep for Tilley Leather Goods until retiring to Port Rowan in 2010.

A memorial funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Langton, ON  N0E 1G0  on Thursday April 20, 2017 at 11:30 am with Father Tom Kuriacko officiating.  Reception to follow at the Clubhouse at the Villages of Long Point Bay, Port Rowan.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

BLACKWELL: F. Munro

F. Munro Blackwell, 79, of Port Rowan passed away April 5th, 2017 at the family home.

Munro and the love of his life, Shirley, had just celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary. Best friends and true companions, theirs is a lifelong, inspiring love story. An adventurous spirit, creative calling and love for each other led them down many roads less traveled. This made all the difference to those they loved and helped shape who they would become.

Respected, admired and fiercely loved by his six children and their spouses; Jody, Tracy (Scott), Ted, James (Jill), Kristy (Matt) and Kelly His unconditional love, wise words and gentle guidance will be profoundly missed and never forgotten. Munro was a constant encourager and believer in each of his children’s dreams, gifts and aspirations.

Munro was a proud Grandad with a kind heart, an understanding way and a gentle nature. He absolutely adored and found great joy in the lives and laughter of his grandchildren; Colin, Gloria Jean, Cody, Emily, Madeline and Eloise.

He was both a brother and a friend to sisters Jill, Susan and Jane (Ian). Wonderful memories were created with many late night conversations, art, antiques, books and of course, birds. Predeceased by; parents Ted and Nan, sister Joanne and brother in laws Don and Russ. Greatly admired and will be remembered fondly by; sister in laws Marion, Dorothy and Helen as well as brother in law Craig and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by; in laws William and Madeline, brother in laws Bob, Norm, Bill and sister in law Cath.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 9th at the Blackwell Residence located at 50 Wolven Street, Port Rowan. Family and friends are invited to join us between 1:00 and 5:00pm. There will be an opportunity to share your memories of Munro.

For those who wish, memorial donations to a local food bank of choice may be made in honour of Munro.

HOWE: Inez Elizabeth (nee Moulton)

HOWE: Inez Elizabeth (nee Moulton) – passed away peacefully on Saturday April 1, 2017 at her residence Maple Manor Nursing Home, Tillsonburg.  Inez Howe formerly of RR#1 Clear Creek in her 89th year.

Beloved wife of the late Edward “Ted” Howe who predeceased her in 1978.  Loving mother of James of Langton, Joan Brooks of RR#1 Clear Creek, Julie & husband Ernie Williams of Tillsonburg and Judy Williams of Tillsonburg.  Sadly missed by her grandchildren Janet & Peter, Mike & Shannon, Mandi & Ryan, Rick, Greg and by her great grandchildren Zachary, Allie, Vivian, Maxwell, Emily, Claudia, Karina and Kendra. Remembered by her daughter-in-law Lois Howe of Tillsonburg and by her brother Doug and wife Fran of Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Predeceased by her parents Frank & Violet (Randall) Moulton, by her son Robert, brothers William & wife Jean and Keith.

Relatives and friends may call at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St., Port Rowan on Tuesday form 2-4 & 6-8pm.  Funeral Service will be conducted in the Clark Chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday April 5, 2017 at 1:30pm.  Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Port Rowan.
