ANDRESS: Murray Ray – passed away peacefully at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on January 4, 2019, Ray Andress of Tillsonburg and formerly of Milton in his 89th year.

Beloved husband of Delores “Dee” Andress for 38 years.  Dear father of Garry, Mona & husband Charles Reed, Monica & husband Phillip Shalay, Cindy & husband Brian Cole, Dan & wife Lisa.  Sadly missed by his 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Predeceased by his parents George and Ida (Becker) Andress, by brothers Bill & wife Rena, Eugene & wife Nancy, Earl & wife Nellie, and by sister Shirley & husband Glen Dedrick.

Ray had a long career in Policing, having started for the first 7 years with the O.P.P., then 15 years as Chief of Police for the Town of Milton Police Service and then retiring after 12 years as Staff Inspector with the Halton Regional Police Service.

Relatives and friends may call at the Tillsonburg Bible Chapel, 63 Queen Street, Tillsonburg on Thursday January 10, 2019 from 10- 11am.  Funeral Service will follow at 11:00am.  Reception to follow with interment in Fairview Cemetery, Port Rowan, Ontario.   In lieu of flowers, donations to the Tillsonburg Bible Chapel (cheques accepted) would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to the Jeffrey W. BARTON: Mary Beryl

Mary Beryl Barton-passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 31, 2018 at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe.  Beryl Barton of Port Rowan in her 84th year.

Beloved wife of Peter Barton who she married in Chatham Kent, England on June 27, 1953.  Loving mother of Graham & wife Tracy of Stittsville, ON and Steven & wife Lisa of McKinney, Texas.  She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Kiah, Nathan, Joshua & Samantha, Michael, Mac and Jack.

Predeceased by her brothers William & Frank Dukes.

A Celebration of Beryl’s life will take place at the Clubhouse at the Villages of Long Point Bay on Sunday November 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of Flowers, donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Canada would be appreciated by the family.

PETKER: Peter – passed away peacefully on Monday March 26, 2018 at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe.  Peter Petker of RR#1 Port Rowan in his 92nd year.

Beloved wife of Catharine (nee Mulligan) whom he married November 29, 1952.  Dear father of Donald of Clear Creek, Gordon of Waterford and Judith of Kitchener.

Survived by his sisters-in-law Marilyn Guthrie, Lydia Reimer, Shirley Adams, Ivy Burns and brother-in-law Wayne and Pat Mulligan.

Predeceased by parents Henry & Justina (Schritt) Petker, brothers Nick & Marie, Henry, Vick, sisters Anne & Nick Wiebe and Helen & Keith Lloyd

A Graveside Service will take place at 11:00a.m. on Thursday October 25, 2018 in the Clear Creek Cemetery. A gathering after the service will take place at Houghton First Baptist Church.  If desired, donations can be directed to Houghton First Baptist Church,  723 Lakeshore Rd., RR#1 Port Burwell, ON   N0J 1T0.

JOHNSON: John Christian

Beloved husband and best friend of Jean (McLean) for 42 years. Loving father of Bernie Johnson (Lorna) of Ridgeway, Janice Verhaeghe (Eric) of Komoka, Kim Lowry (Paul) of Bothwell, Danny MacDonald (Teresa) of Turkey Point and Jenn Sporbeck of Belmont.  Cherished grandfather of Tyler (Tiffany), Kelsey and fiancée Michael, Ben, Hilary, Garrett, Bailey, Josh, Kenzie, Zach and Noah.  Great grand-father of Jaxxon and Colton.  Dear brother of Arnold of Simcoe. Also remembered by many cousins, nieces and nephews. John will be missed by all those who knew and loved him and especially his witty sense of humour as he could always make you laugh. He will be sadly missed by his good friends Brad Thomson and Jim Pepper.

Predeceased by his sister-in-law Georgina Johnson.

John was a Founder & General Manager of Booth’s Harbour Developments Ltd for over 40 years.  He was a member of the Walsingham Masonic Lodge, the Norfolk Shrine Club and the Royal Canadian Legion, Port Rowan.

Family and friends will be received at Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front Street, Port Rowan, Ontario on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be conducted in the Clark Chapel of the Funeral Home on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 11:00 am with luncheon to follow at the Port Rowan Legion.  Private family burial at Johnson Cemetery, St. Williams, Ontario.

Many thanks to the hospital staff at University Hospital, London, Ontario especially those in the Intensive Care Unit for their kind and compassionate care.

McKIBBON: Christopher Dale

Best friend and partner of Barbara Ann Underhill.  Step father of Amanda Underhill of Tillsonburg and Belinda & husband Samuel Smith of St. Williams.  Proud grandpa of Oliver. Loving son of Janice Currie of Courtland and the late Clifford Graves (1971). Dear brother of Tammy (Randy) of Courtland and Steve and Vicki of Port Rowan and will be remembered by several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his brothers Cliff, Mark and Barry McKibbon.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St., Port Rowan on Saturday February 18, 2017 from 9:30 – 10:45am. followed by the Memorial Service in the Clark Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11:00am.  Interment of Cremated remains will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Walsingham.
