SHEPPARD: Alice May “Ali” – It is with heaviest of hearts, the family wishes to announce the peaceful passing of Ali Shepperd on Sunday February 10, 2019 at Sakura House, Woodstock.  Ali Shepperd of Port Rowan in her 65th year.

Partner in love & life for 30 years to Mark Armstrong.  Loving step-mother to Phil Armstrong (Becky) and Nanna to Brooklyn & Bridget.  Ali will also be sadly missed by her beloved “Lily”.  Daughter of Helen Brewer, sister of Bill (Kris) Brewer, Bob (Trish) and step-brother Jim (Margaret) Brewer. Cherished Aunt to nieces & nephews.

Predeceased by her first husband Richard Sheppard (1988) and her father Oscar Brewer (1989).

Ali loved the simple life of gardening, volunteering, grandkids and swinging on the porch.

Ali has requested that everyone wear Casual Dress for visitation at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home 36 Front St., Port Rowan on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. And for the Funeral Service that will be conducted in the Clark Chapel of the funeral home on Thursday February 14, 2019 at 11:00am.  Interment later in Woodhouse Cemetery, Simcoe.

If you wish to honor Ali in any way, she has requested that you help a person or an animal in need.  It’s the small acts of kindness that also matters a great deal.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be directed to Sakura House, Woodstock (cheques accepted) and would be appreciated by the family.

ARMSTRONG: Margaret passed away peacefully at her residence at PeopleCare – Oak Crossing, London on Sunday, February 10, 2019.  Margaret Armstrong formerly of Port Rowan in her 92nd year.

Survived by son Robert Armstrong-Clayton (Jim), daughter Sharon Mussel (Joe). Also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.

Predeceased by husband Cecil of 60 years marriage, her mother Helen Gould (Jim), brothers Clifford, John, Bill & Frank Martin.

Relatives and friends may call at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St., Port Rowan on Thursday from 6-8p.m.  Funeral service will be conducted in the Clark Chapel of the funeral home on Friday February 15, 2019 at 1:30pm.  Interment to follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Port Rowan.

HEINRICHS: John

HEINRICHS: John – passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday February 8, 2019 at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe.  John Heinrichs of Port Rowan in his 91st year.

Beloved husband of Helen (Reimer) Heinrichs whom he married October 25, 1952.  Dear father of Nancy & husband Fred Klassen of Gem, Alberta, Frieda & husband Bob Loewen, Sharon (March 5, 2015) & husband Steve Bergen, Vern & wife Marilynne all of Port Rowan and Edward (1979) & wife Sandy (Vic) Schellenberg of Abbotsford, B.C.  He will be sadly missed by his 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.  Dear brother-in-law of Hilda Suderman of Simcoe, Jake & Lydia Reimer, Bill & Ellen Reimer, and Margaret Driedger all of Port Rowan.

Predeceased by brother Peter & Susie Hildebrand, Jake & Lydia Heinrichs, sisters Betty & Henry Reimer, Mary & Jake Doerksen, Katie & Henry Loewen, by his sisters-in-law Erna & Henry Hiebert, Mary & Jake Penner, Lydia Reimer and brother-in-law Peter Driedger.

John retired from Verspeeten Cartage after many years of service.  He enjoyed his sports, baseball and bowling earlier in life and then golfing in the later years.  He also enjoyed fixing, tinkering and inventing many things.

Relatives and friends may call at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St., Port Rowan on Tuesday from 4 – 8pm.  Funeral Service will be conducted from the Port Rowan Mennonite Brethren Church, 465 Concession Road 1, R.R. #3, Port Rowan on Wednesday February 13, 2019 at 11:00am.  Prior to the Service a private family interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Port Rowan.

PARKER: Dale

PARKER: Dale – With his beloved wife Brenda (nee: Louks) at his side on Saturday February 2, 2019 at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe, Dale Parker of St. Williams at the age of 57 years.

Loving father of Tyler & his wife Lisa of Port Rowan, Terrell of Toronto, Taylor of Tillsonburg and Tasha & her husband Allan Cull of London.  Cherished Ampa of Chanelle, Zander, Everick, Hannah and Eddison.

Much loved son of Donna of Silverhill & her husband Gary Gee who was his “second Dad but more of his real Dad”.  Dear brother of Leslie & Christine of Pine Grove, Don & Michelle of Silverhill, Scott & Judy of Tillsonburg, and brother-in-law of Wayne & Cathy Louks of Langton,  Orlan Louks of Delhi, Teresa & Danny Cronmiller of Walsingham and Pat Parker of Aylmer.  Nephew of Diann Boscoe & Jerry Lake of London, Deb & Frank Debrabender of Tillsonburg. Also survived by his Great Aunt,  Jean Cridland. Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews.

He will also be missed by his “fur babies” Serena and Gwen.

Dale will be missed by many, loved by all.  He will not be forgotten.

KLASSEN: Peter

KLASSEN: Peter – passed away suddenly on Thursday January 31, 2019 at his residence.  Peter Klassen of Kitchener and formerly of Simcoe & Port Rowan in his 90th year.

Beloved husband of Sara Helen “Sadie” (Dueck) Klassen whom he married August 4, 1956.  Dear father of Lois & husband James Nickel of Winnipeg, Ren & wife Joy of Kitchener and the late Patricia (October 24, 2018) and husband Tony Bouk of Tillsonburg.   Sadly missed by his 6 grandchildren Michael, Trish & Daniel, Joshua & Aiglee, Brittany, Luke, Ezra & great grandson Kingsley. Survived by his brothers John & wife Alita of St. Jacobs and Tom & wife Lydia of St. Williams, by his sisters Anne & husband Abe Toews and Martha & husband Dick Morgan all of Simcoe and by sister-in-law Helen of St. Catharines.

Predeceased by his parents Jacob & Helen (Unger) Klassen, by brothers J.P & Anne, Henry, Nick & Annie, Herman, Ed, Walter and by sisters Helen & Cornie Friesen and Mary & Abe Petkau.

Relatives and friends may call at the Kitchener Mennonite Brethren Church 19 Ottawa St., N., Kitchener on Monday February 4, 2019 from 12-1:45pm followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm.  Reception to follow.  Private family interment will take place in the Fairview Cemetery, Port Rowan on Tuesday February 5, 2019.
