BOUK: Marian Irene (nee Lucas)– passed away peacefully at her residence Cedarwood Village, on Sunday February 17, 2019.  Marian Bouk of Simcoe and formerly of the Walsingham and St. Williams area in her 97th year.

Beloved wife of the late Walter Bouk who predeceased her December 1, 2005.  Loving mother of Barbara & husband Ken Whitby of London, Michael & wife Deborah of Guelph and Winston of Brownsville.  Sadly missed by her grandchildren Tony, Troy, Tracey, Tanya, Ginger and great grandchildren Adrian, Nicholas, Cooper, Logan, Bailey and Whitney. Survived by her sister Madeline (late Cleo) Raymond of Simcoe.

Predeceased by her parents Arthur & Laurintha (Fick) Lucas, by brothers Murray (Fern), Morley (Eva) and Melbourne (Edna) Lucas and sisters Myrtle Stevens, Mildred Torrance and Muriel (Bill) Carl.

Relatives & friends may call at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home 36 Front St., Port Rowan on Friday February 22, 2019 from 11 – 12:45 followed by the funeral service in the Clark Chapel of the funeral home at 1:00pm.  Interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Walsingham.

 LOCKHART: Dorothy Kathleen (nee Richardson) – passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 12, 2019 at the John Noble Home, Brantford.  Dorothy Lockhart formerly of St. Williams in her 95th year.

Beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Lockhart who predeceased her December 1, 2009.  Remembered by her nephew Kevin & Linda Lockhart of Brantford, her nieces Rebecca & Ben Nardone of Brantford, Janet & Vince Bulbrook of Pickering, Cheryl & Ed Owen of Whitby, Jenny Lockhart and Joanne Lockhart both of Arizona.  Survived by her sister-in-law Reta Richardson of Whitby.

Predeceased by her parents Ernest & Dorothy (Marrow) Richardson, by brothers Herbert & John Richardson and sister Mary Richardson.

Relatives and friends may call at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St., Port Rowan on Saturday February 16, 2019 from 10 – 11:45am. followed by the Funeral Service in the Clark Chapel of the funeral home at 12 noon.  Interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery, Forestville.

SHEPPARD: Alice May “Ali”

SHEPPARD: Alice May “Ali” – It is with heaviest of hearts, the family wishes to announce the peaceful passing of Ali Shepperd on Sunday February 10, 2019 at Sakura House, Woodstock.  Ali Shepperd of Port Rowan in her 65th year.

Partner in love & life for 30 years to Mark Armstrong.  Loving step-mother to Phil Armstrong (Becky) and Nanna to Brooklyn & Bridget.  Ali will also be sadly missed by her beloved “Lily”.  Daughter of Helen Brewer, sister of Bill (Kris) Brewer, Bob (Trish) and step-brother Jim (Margaret) Brewer. Cherished Aunt to nieces & nephews.

Predeceased by her first husband Richard Sheppard (1988) and her father Oscar Brewer (1989).

Ali loved the simple life of gardening, volunteering, grandkids and swinging on the porch.

Ali has requested that everyone wear Casual Dress for visitation at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home 36 Front St., Port Rowan on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. And for the Funeral Service that will be conducted in the Clark Chapel of the funeral home on Thursday February 14, 2019 at 11:00am.  Interment later in Woodhouse Cemetery, Simcoe.

If you wish to honor Ali in any way, she has requested that you help a person or an animal in need.  It’s the small acts of kindness that also matters a great deal.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be directed to Sakura House, Woodstock (cheques accepted) and would be appreciated by the family.

ARMSTRONG: Margaret passed away peacefully at her residence at PeopleCare – Oak Crossing, London on Sunday, February 10, 2019.  Margaret Armstrong formerly of Port Rowan in her 92nd year.

Survived by son Robert Armstrong-Clayton (Jim), daughter Sharon Mussel (Joe). Also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.

Predeceased by husband Cecil of 60 years marriage, her mother Helen Gould (Jim), brothers Clifford, John, Bill & Frank Martin.

Relatives and friends may call at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St., Port Rowan on Thursday from 6-8p.m.  Funeral service will be conducted in the Clark Chapel of the funeral home on Friday February 15, 2019 at 1:30pm.  Interment to follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Port Rowan.

HEINRICHS: John

HEINRICHS: John – passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday February 8, 2019 at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe.  John Heinrichs of Port Rowan in his 91st year.

Beloved husband of Helen (Reimer) Heinrichs whom he married October 25, 1952.  Dear father of Nancy & husband Fred Klassen of Gem, Alberta, Frieda & husband Bob Loewen, Sharon (March 5, 2015) & husband Steve Bergen, Vern & wife Marilynne all of Port Rowan and Edward (1979) & wife Sandy (Vic) Schellenberg of Abbotsford, B.C.  He will be sadly missed by his 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.  Dear brother-in-law of Hilda Suderman of Simcoe, Jake & Lydia Reimer, Bill & Ellen Reimer, and Margaret Driedger all of Port Rowan.

Predeceased by brother Peter & Susie Hildebrand, Jake & Lydia Heinrichs, sisters Betty & Henry Reimer, Mary & Jake Doerksen, Katie & Henry Loewen, by his sisters-in-law Erna & Henry Hiebert, Mary & Jake Penner, Lydia Reimer and brother-in-law Peter Driedger.

John retired from Verspeeten Cartage after many years of service.  He enjoyed his sports, baseball and bowling earlier in life and then golfing in the later years.  He also enjoyed fixing, tinkering and inventing many things.

Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St., Port Rowan on Tuesday from 4 – 8pm.  Funeral Service will be conducted from the Port Rowan Mennonite Brethren Church, 465 Concession Road 1, R.R. #3, Port Rowan on Wednesday February 13, 2019 at 11:00am.  Prior to the Service a private family interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Port Rowan.
