PETKER: Peter – passed away peacefully on Monday March 26, 2018 at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe.  Peter Petker of RR#1 Port Rowan in his 92nd year.

Beloved wife of Catharine (nee Mulligan) whom he married November 29, 1952.  Dear father of Donald of Clear Creek, Gordon of Waterford and Judith of Kitchener.

Survived by his sisters-in-law Marilyn Guthrie, Lydia Reimer, Shirley Adams, Ivy Burns and brother-in-law Wayne and Pat Mulligan.

Predeceased by parents Henry & Justina (Schritt) Petker, brothers Nick & Marie, Henry, Vick, sisters Anne & Nick Wiebe and Helen & Keith Lloyd

A Graveside Service will take place at 11:00a.m. on Thursday October 25, 2018 in the Clear Creek Cemetery. A gathering after the service will take place at Houghton First Baptist Church.  If desired, donations can be directed to Houghton First Baptist Church,  723 Lakeshore Rd., RR#1 Port Burwell, ON   N0J 1T0.

McNULTY: CAROLYN (BOWLBY)

McNULTY:  CAROLYN (BOWLBY) passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice in London, Ontario on Thursday October 18, 2018, with the comfort of visiting with many family and friends in her final days

Survived by her husband, Philip McNulty and his extended family of siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews, including Philip’s sister and brother-in-law, Jeanette and Ed Grant who live in Ailsa Craig, Ontario, and their children and families Grainne, Breege and Brendan.

Carolyn also is survived by three siblings, all living in London, Ontario, including Gwen Bowlby-Smith and her daughters Jennifer and Heather and their spouses, Dean and Will, plus nieces and nephews Allyson and William. Carolyn’s brother, Ken Bowlby is joined by his wife, Rose and their children Chandra and Katherine along with spouses Kevin and Dan.  After our mother died Carolyn raised her younger sister, Wendy Scanlan, thus forming a unique bond that for the rest of her life had them referring to or introducing each other as “daughter” and “Mummy”.  Wendy’s husband, Anthony, also called Carolyn “Mummy”.  Wendy and Anthony’s children, Amanda and Christopher, along with their grandchildren Alyssa and Cody, did not see themselves in those roles – To them, Carolyn and Philip always have been and always will be “Nana” and “Papa”.

A celebration of Carolyn’s life will take place on Tuesday October 30, 2018 from 6-8:30pm at Marino’s Restaurant & Bar, 1066 Adelaide St. N., London. A celebration will also take place in Port Rowan in May 2019.   Carolyn’s friends and family will be contacted with more information, or you may contact the Jeffrey W. MALCOLM: James George “Jim”

MALCOLM: James George “Jim” – passed away peacefully with his family and closest friend at his side on Friday October 12, 2018.  Jim Malcolm of Long Point was in his 70th year.

Beloved husband of Susan (nee Clark) who he married May 15, 1971.  Dear father of Geoffrey of St. George.  He is survived by his sister Mary Armstrong of Tillsonburg.

Predeceased by his parents George & Margaret “Peggy” (Griggs) Malcolm of Kincardine.

After a career with the Province of Ontario, Jim was a long time President of the Long Point Waterfowlers’ Association where he was active and influential in the fund raising for and organization of the restoration of the Crown Marsh.

Relatives and friends are invited to Celebrate Jim’s life with his family at the St Williams Community Centre on Sunday October 21, 2018 from 1 -4 pm.  Interment will take place in Bayview Cemetery, Port Rowan.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Norfolk Delta Waterfowlers, the Arthritis Society, Ducks Unlimited Canada, or the Long Point Waterfowlers’ Association (cheques accepted).

BARBER: Judy Anne (Ashford) – passed away at the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home, Simcoe, on Thursday September 27, 2018, Judy Barber of St. Williams in her 74th year.

Beloved wife of Gordon Barber for 53 years.  Loving mother of Jamie & her husband Mark Kelly of Delhi, Rick & his wife Robin of St. Williams.  Cherished grandmother of Eric & Meagan, Alicia, Randy and Ryan.  Great Grandmother of Rhiannon.  Dear sister of Marion & husband Ralph Harriett, Violet & the late Ed Parker and David all of St. Williams, Jim & wife Linda of Booths Harbour, Linda & the late Harold Kozak, Bob & Marj all of Simcoe, Don & Dena of Havelock.

Predeceased by her parents Leo & Hazel Ashford and by her brother John Ashford & his wife Faye.

A public Graveside Service will be conducted at the Newkirk Cemetery, St. Williams on Thursday October 4, 2018 at 11:00am.

 HESKETT: Darren Allan – Passed away on August 31, 2018 in his 43rd year.

Survived by his mother, Nancy O’Neill of Simcoe, sisters, Kim Heskett (Todd) of Simcoe, Amanda O’Neill of Brantford and brother Steven O’Neill (Venus) of Australia. Uncle to Meg, Kayla and Denver. Predeceased by his father, Donald Heskett (1980), stepfather Ronald O’Neill (2006).
